Environmental issues are at the top of national and international agendas and action plans and so we need knowledgeable and skilled professionals who can take on challenges like climate change, water quality, air pollution, soil protection, resource management, sustainable energy, conservation, environmental policy and sustainable development. Studying our Environmental Science or Environment and Sustainability degrees will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to forge a career taking on those challenges. The degrees offer great flexibility and choice, allowing you to pursue your particular environmental interests. All our degrees are professionally accredited by two leading environmental organisations, the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) and the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Management (IEMA), and they all offer options for work placement or study abroad. You can even extend your degree to 4 years with a work placement year or study abroad year.
Programme Director, Ian Oliver, provides an overview of our environmental courses at Keele.
