UAVs, 3D Modelling and Heritage Sites in the Peak District: Preliminary Results & Future Uses

Part of the GGE Seminar Series

A talk by Helen Malbon, Postgraduate Research Student at Keele University

The seminar aims to showcase the preliminary results of an original workflow combining UAV derived imagery, photogrammetry, and 3D modelling applied to four earthwork heritage sites in the Peak District National Park. Moving forward, the intent is then to offer the future uses of the imagery, 3D models, GIS analysis and UAVs as an effective method for the documentation, monitoring and preservation of heritage sites in open moorland landscapes.
