ASK at the SU can help you with any worries, concerns, and problems you have with your course and other aspects of your academic life at Keele. You can speak to an ASK adviser during their daily drop-ins Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 1-4pm.
The mental health & counselling service offers fast access slots for students who have urgent need. We have four telephone triage appointments from 12-1pm each weekday. Following triage, if we need to see you then you'll be offered a face to face appointment in the afternoon.
Please note that to book a telephone triage you must phone us on the morning of the day you wish to talk. We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability - call 01782 734187.
You can also arrange to see a Peer Supporter, a group of trained student volunteers who can offer confidential mental health support to their fellow students. Find out more.
Massage is an amazing healing system that helps to rid the body and mind of stress. These free 20 minute sessions can be booked outside the Library Training Room from 30 minutes before the first massage that day - check out the events calendar to see the dates these sessions will be taking place. Please be aware that sessions will be booked on a first come first served basis each day.
Relaxation Pottery Art
Need to take a break from all the revision? Come along to one of our pottery workshops. These sessions are a great opportunity to chill out and have a go at the relaxing art of clay. The one hour session will give you the chance to either produce a slab built piece of wall art or to produce and decorate a pinch pot. De-stress & enjoy! Pre-booking for these sessions is essential as space is limited - please see the link to book in the events calendar.
The Stardome is being set up in the SU Ballroom and will transformed into a daytime chill out room for all students - there'll be fairy lights, cushions and blankets; just lay back and stargaze. Open weekdays for most of the exam period (SU is closed 10, 16 and 17 January).

This is a simple form of basic mindfulness that can give you time to channel your calm, and take your focus away from the stresses of exams. Mindfulness colouring sheets are available from the Exam Plus stand in the Library, Student Services Centre front desk, and in KeeleSU.

The Guide Dog Society bring you a doggy de-stress day as part of Exam Plus! Entry requires a £1 donation which will go to the Guide Dogs charity to support their work - check out the calendar for timing.

We all know this time of year can be a stressful one, so if you're feeling like you need to vent your issues we have some active listeners on hand for you to talk at whilst walking around campus.
Come and walk the labyrinth in the East Chapel. A labyrinth is a reflective walk when we can lay down burdens and find strength. Generally there are three stages to the walk: releasing on the way in, receiving in the centre and returning, when you follow the return path back out of the labyrinth. Drop by the Chapel anytime Monday 7 January to Friday 11 January - simple instructions are available.
