Transport and travel
The University Travel Plan aims to reduce the number of single occupied car journeys to campus and increase the use of sustainable travel:
Many staff and students cycle from home to Keele University campus. The campus has plenty of cycle racks, and there is plenty of help and support on campus- we even have a free puncture repair kit than you can use! More information on cycling here.
Staff can take advantage of the Cycle2work scheme to hire a bicycle on a long term basis through contributions made directly from their salary. More information about the Cycle2work scheme here.
Car Sharing is a simple, cost effective and an environmentally friendly way to travel to and from work. It can suit both regular and occasional car sharers and there is a simple and secure way to find people living in your area. Find potential staff car sharers here.
Information on travelling to Keele can be found here.
