Environmental and Landscape Change Research Group
The Earth Systems Research Theme covers the full spectrum of geosciences, and spans almost the entire geological column. Within this broad theme the Environmental and Landscape Change Research Group has evidenced research strengths in the following key areas, environmental change, high-latitude glacial and periglacial environments (Arctic and Antarctic), glacial geomorphology, ice sheet reconstruction and projection, sea level and palaeoclimate reconstruction (using marine, terrestrial, ice core, and marine and terrestrial micropaleontology). The group is highly multidisciplinary, and with a solid research profile the group is well placed to build and develop.
