Education for Sustainability Research

The HEA NTFS 'Hybrid PBL for Sustainable Education' project, aims to explore ways in which problem-based learning can be up-scaled to be used for teaching about sustainability to large numbers of students through blending face-to-face and online teaching. This is a collaborative project between Keele, Staffordshire and Manchester Universities.

Greening Business: An online teaching resource, funded by the HEA ESD project, provides a set of open access resources, available for anybody looking to teach about sustainability in businesses and organisations, based on a well-established ‘Greening Business’ module run at Keele.  The resource includes outlines of PPT slides, activities, project ideas and question and answer sheets.

Interactive Resources for Interdisciplinary Sustainability is an online resource developed from an HEA ESD project exploring ways to support students undertaking interdisciplinary sustainability focussed degrees.  This resource is also useful for anyone looking to explore the connection between sustainability and different disciplines, and includes study advice for students.
