Simone Foister Simone Foister
Simone is a third year Biology and Psychology BSc student and has the role of project co-ordinator. She joined the bungalow project as she enjoys gardening and wanted to learn new and creative ways of living sustainably. Her interests include; animal welfare and environmental conservation. She hopes to pursue a career in these fields.

Luke is a third year Environment & Sustainability student. Luke was the project assistant to the pioneer LiveGreen: Keele project team and decided to get involved this year to continue the project’s success. Luke is the Think: Green society president, and sits on the sustainability steering committee for the university. His sustainability interest is food security, and wants to go into this after graduating. He believes that the future of agriculture will be in the form of vertical farming, a concept where food is grown indoors in a tall building within the cityscape. He is also interested in 3D printing and astronomy.

 

Toral Shah Toral Shah
Toral is a second year Environment and Sustainability student from Kenya. She leads media communications at the bungalow which involves updating the blog, Facebook, Twitter and website. She has a strong passion for environmental and animal conservation and has carried out various volunteer programmes within this field. She is an outdoors person and enjoys gardening and walking.

 

 

Priya Gandhi ‌Priya Gandhi
Priya is a second year International Relations with Geology student, with interests widely in volcanic petrology and mining. She is in charge of the finance and upkeep of the house. Her interests in sustainability lie mostly in studying the interdisciplinary relationship between geology and the environment, and how the disciplines work together; mining companies should not have to degrade land in order to extract resources. She enjoys gardening, climbing and astronomy.
