What do you want to see?
With a number of talks, activities and tours it is important to plan what you want to see. Take a look at the programme before you arrive so you can make the most of your day. Some talks may need you to book on in advance; you will be sent an email with further information if this is the case.
If you have any access requirements, please let us know on the booking form and we will be in touch before the Open Day with further advice. Alternatively, please email email@example.com or call 01782 733949 / 734450.
Visit the sign-in marquee
Make sure you come and see us in the sign-in marquee to collect your welcome pack. Our Student Ambassadors (in purple) will be on hand if you have any questions or need directions!
Look out for the orange signs to guide you around campus, or our Student Ambassadors are always happy to point you in the right direction.
The campus and accommodation tours depart from a marquee in front of the library, with general talks all taking place inside the Chancellor’s Building (a few minutes’ walk from sign-in).
If you aren’t able to make one of the talks, visit our information stands inside Chancellor’s Building where you will be able to chat to members of our Admissions, Careers and Employability, Languages, Residence Life, Student Money Advice and Guidance, Student Services and Study Abroad teams. Academic stands are also based here, for any questions about our specific subjects.
Most of the academic schools offer drop-in sessions, so if you have any questions feel free to call in and speak to staff and Student Ambassadors.
The Sports Centre, Library, Students’ Union and Chapel are all open throughout the day for you to explore. The Sports Centre and Students’ Union staff will be happy to show you around and provide information about the facilities.
Need a pit stop?
Free hot and cold drinks will be available inside the Chancellor’s Building throughout the day.
We have a range of street food stalls in Union Square (weather permitting), as well as a number of catering outlets inside Chancellor’s Building where you can buy food and drink throughout the day.
All of our staff and Student Ambassadors are happy to answer any questions that you may have. It may be worth preparing a few questions ahead of your visit, especially when comparing courses and universities.
If you have any questions after the event please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01782 733949 / 734450.
