Travelling to Keele open days
Keele University is ideally situated in the heart of the UK, right by bustling university town Newcastle-under-Lyme, minutes away from the ever-developing city of Stoke-on-Trent. Our postcode for sat nav is ST5 5BG.
Keele is between Junctions 15 and 16 on the M6 motorway, and is just west of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme. We are halfway between Manchester and Birmingham.
Please follow the orange signs and staff directions to the next available car park. Car parking is free on the Open Day.
If you or anyone in your party has any mobility issues or holds a blue badge, head to the Students’ Union car park for access to the sign-in marquee. If you would like to park next to a particular building instead, please refer to the accessibility map on our website.
The nearest railway station to Keele is Stoke-on-Trent (5 miles / 8km away). We offer a complimentary shuttle service between Keele University and Stoke-on-Trent train station on open days.
When you arrive at the train station, look out for one of our Student Ambassadors who will direct you to the bus stop.
The bus will then leave Keele University from the stop outside Darwin Building.
A timetable will be available two weeks before each event.
From Stoke-on-Trent train station, 'First' buses operate No. 25 service. The bus stop is on your left when exiting the station, on the opposite side of the road (opposite the taxi rank). More details can be found on the First Group website.
