Keele Hall Readings: Helen Ivory

Helen Ivory is a poet and visual artist. Her fifth Bloodaxe collection The Anatomical Venus was winner of the East Anglian Writers Book by the Cover Award (East Anglian Book Awards 2019) and shortlisted for the poetry category of the East Anglian Book Awards 2019. She edits the webzine Ink Sweat and Tears and has 20 years teaching experience at all levels. Fool’s World , a collaborative Tarot with artist Tom de Freston (Gatehouse Press) won the 2016 Saboteur Best Collaborative Work award. A book of collage/ mixed media poems Hear What the Moon Told Me is published by KFS, and a surrealist chapbook Maps of the Abandoned City is published SurVision Press. In 2019 she was named by the Eastern Daily Press as one of Norfolk’s 100 Most Inspiring Women.
