Keele Concerts: The Entente cordiale in 1918

Featuring Musicians from Royal Northern College of Manchester

Introduced and presented by Professor Barbara Kelly

Claude Debussy’s En blanc et noir for two pianos, Cinq poèmes de Baudelaire and mélodies from throughout his career in commemoration of the centenary of the composer’s death. These will be placed alongside Songs by Lili Boulanger, William Denis Browne, Ivor Gurney, Hope Squire and Frank Merrick to reflect music from the end of the First World War in France and Britain.
