Are you curious?

Stoking Curiosity is the flagship university–community partnership festival of public engagement with research in the Midlands. The last festival took place at Spode works in Stoke town on 22 and 23 November 2019. The festival is a great opportunity for academic researchers, local people and organisations to share or create knowledge in a variety of ways that have audience participation at the heart of the activity.

GET INVOLVED WITH STOKING CURIOSITY...

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the Stoking Curiosity team and be part of helping to develop the Festival into the future. Stoking Curiosity is set up to support people to network and use curiosity to engage people in research and activities taking place in our community. As part of the volunteer team you will get to:

  • Learn new skills and gain invaluable experience to develop your CV
  • Meet new people and be part of a friendly, fun and lively team
  • Make a difference to how our commuities actively engage with academic research and community led projects

Stoking Curiosity is co-organised by a partnership between the communities of Stoke-on-Trent, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Keele and Staffordshire Universities. To learn more about the festival, read the 2018 Stoking Curiosity Evaluation Report
