Lindsay Hall

Located on the south side of campus, and a short stroll from central campus and the science teaching facilities.  Lindsay Hall has its own common room and launderette, and is home to Lindsay Cafe Bar, which is popular for its pub quizzes and social events.  It provides a selection of rooms including classic, classic plus and en-suite rooms.

Lindsay Hall is situated at the south of campus, just a five minute walk from the centre. Providing accommodation for approximately 550 students, Lindsay offers traditional bedrooms and en-suite rooms.‌‌

In Lindsay you can find The Hexagon (Common Room), Lindsay Cafe Bar, Lindsay Shop, a launderette, bicycle storage, card and coin pay telephones and recycling points. Your Keele Card will give you access to the communal areas.

Our kitchens are different from domestic ones – there are more cookers, fridges and microwaves, depending on the numbers sharing. Remember that not everyone gets up, eats or showers at the same time so kitchens and bathrooms rarely get congested.

Single Occupancy Flats

We have a selection of self-contained flats which are available for single occupancy. These may appeal to those who want to experience campus life, without communal living. They are also located within the halls of residence and are within walking distance of bars, launderettes and common rooms.

We have adapted rooms in this Hall.

‌Offering a range of drinks, hot beverages and snacks Lindsay Café Bar is a great place to be whether you want to relax or catch up with friends.

Try one of ‌the many draught or bottled beers and lagers available, watch satellite TV, join ‌in the social events or have a game of pool.‌

The Hexagon:

The Hexagon is the common room in Lindsay Hall and is an alcohol and smoke free zone. It is open 24 hours and contains the following facilities:

  • Wi-Fi
  • Television with multi satellite
  • Room for band practice, dancing etc.
  • Vending machines providing hot and cold drinks plus cold snacks

At Lindsay we work together as a team and our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are here to listen and help you have an enjoyable stay with us. We strive to achieve a seamless service to all the residents and welcome any feed-back from you at any time.

Members of our team include the Accommodation Services Manager, Housekeeping Supervisors, Stewards and Residence Support. We all have different roles and contact details but as a team if one of us is not available you can contact another member of the team who will pass on the enquiry to the relevant person.
