What to do if you have symptoms or a confirmed case of Covid-19, or you have been asked to self-isolate

We all have a part to play in keeping our communities safe and helping to control the spread of Covid-19.

What to do: staff

If you have symptoms of Covid-19 then you should get a free NHS test. Until you have the test results, you and anybody who you live with must self-isolate.

If you test positive then you need to notify the University’s Covid Response Team. You should also follow NHS guidance to continue to isolate, usually for at least 10 days, and anyone you live with should self-isolate for 14 days.

If you test negative, you should follow NHS advice after receiving your test result.
