Volunteering opportunities

There are many ways to give your time, knowledge and skills to support Keele University and its students past, present and future.

The University, our current students and our network of alumni all benefit greatly from the support of volunteers around the world who champion Keele values of equality, educational opportunity and the transformative capacity of education.

If you are considering volunteering with us, thank you. Please find out about the different ways you can do so below.

The 'Keele Connect' eMentoring platform provides alumni with the opportunity to network with, and provide career advice to, their fellow Keelites across the world. The online system, which is free to use, allows Keele’s 110,000+ alumni to support each other, as well as the University’s 11,000+ current students.

Join today by visiting www.keeleconnect.org, and just get in touch if you have questions.

Keele University is committed to developing and strengthening links with business and organisations, and offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to benefit from the additional support provided by internships and placements. This might range from a short-term opportunity through to a full-year placement. Our team can provide more information on the opportunities needed and available.

Through our Keele in the City programme, alumni can invite a group of students to learn more about your sector, industry or profession through a workplace visit.  These visits help our students to make informed choices about their careers post-Keele. Visits are usually followed by informal networking opportunities for all alumni and students together, at a venue local to the workplace host.

Our Faculties, as well as our Careers & Employability team, are always keen to invite alumni speakers to attend careers events. Hearing about your career journey and experience of life after Keele is greatly beneficial to current students, inspiring them to think about the full-breadth of options available to them. If you’re interested in talking to current students, please contact us at alumni.hq@keele.ac.uk.

We love to know more about what you have been doing since graduation!

Please in touch with us at alumni.hq@keele.ac.uk to share your story. Profiles may feature on our website, in our alumni publications, and in careers information for students. We welcome profiles from all career stages, industries, sectors and professions.

Alumni HQ are always delighted to hear your ideas and suggestions of opportunities you would like to offer and share with fellow alumni and current students. Please get in touch alumni.hq@keele.ac.uk to share your ideas!
