‌The highly successful two-day event with 100 participants was planned, designed and led by Chloe Howe (Teaching Fellow in Chemistry) and David McGarvey (Reader in Chemistry) and supported by a brilliant team of twelve Chemistry support-staff and academics.

The event included social activities for both students and teachers, and whilst the students competed over a whole day in the Chemistry laboratories, their teachers took part in Royal Society of Chemistry workshops.

The event concluded with a highly entertaining and interactive lecture (Saturday Night Science) by Graeme Jones (Senior Lecturer in Chemistry) and a prize-giving ceremony.

The participants' were extremely impressed by Keele and commented in particular on the quality of the laboratory facilities, catering and the beauty of the campus.
