Careers Advice

On completing a degree at Keele most students either enter the jobmarket or enrol on a research degree. Even before then you may be considering a work placement over a summer vacation or even a year out in industry. The Keele Careers Service and the Chemistry Careers Advisor can help.

The Keele Careers Service

This is located in the Learning and Student Support Centre which is on the ground floor, Walter Moberly Building and their website can be found here. This offers comprehensive careers advice to students from help with CV writing, to practising interview techniques to notification of vacancies and studentships.

The Chemistry Careers Advisor

Helps to arrange events and activities with the Careers Service for chemistry students and can give specific chemistry advice students wanting to enter into chemistry careers. The Advisor is also the first port of call for students wanting to undertake an industrial placement either as part of a year out in industry or as part of the MChem programme.

Please note I only work part-time so e-mail contact is the best.
