Aims
1. To enable the student to develop and critically reflect upon their personal development and learning needs. 2. To provide the student with an opportunity to adapt and critically reflect on their interpersonal skills in a placement setting. 3. With the support of practice educators, the student will develop and justify physiotherapy knowledge, decision-making and implementation abilities in a placement setting.
Intended Learning Outcomes

20 hours Schedule Learning/Teaching: - 6 hours placement debrief (synchronous lecture)- 12 hours lectures- 1 hours assessment preparation- 1 hour tutorial17 hours independent study including:- 11 hours independent study- 6 hours assessment preparation180 hours placementThere is a requirement that students will undertake directed independent study in preparation for the placement and an expectation to undertake self-directed independent study throughout the duration of the placement, length of which will depend on individual need.

1: Placement weighted 0%CPAF level 6The student's knowledge, skills and professional behaviour on Practice Experience 4a is assessed using a criterion referenced form.
2: Essay weighted 100%Practice Experience Linked Module AssessmentThis comprises of a 2000 word critical reflection based on an aspect of patient care during practice experience.
