This module will give you a chance to develop your skills as a Sport and Exercise Psychologist by working with a client and designing an intervention to address their specific needs. You will learn about how to apply, monitor and evaluate psychological theory and techniques used by sport psychologists in practice, as well as the counselling and professional skills required in this area of psychology. You will learn how sport psychology practice is tailored to different needs and context, for example individual, social, cultural, etc. and have a go at doing this yourself as part of your assessment.
Aims
This module will allow students to reflect on what they have learnt from previous modules and apply their knowledge to a sports and exercise setting.
