Description for 2026/27

Your university study may be driven by curiosity about the physical world, but it is also about developing graduate attributes that lead to successful and fulfilling careers. The activities and milestones in our career planning modules will grow your potential beyond Physics knowledge. In Level 5, the emphasis is on careers research, building your CV, auditing your skills and placement opportunities.

Aims
The module aims to enable students in identifying potential work experience or placement opportunities to enhance their career prospects. Students will build on the skills portfolio developed at level 4 and be able to demonstrate and articulate how they meet the criteria and are good candidates for a particular role through an effective CV and cover letter.
