Aims
The module will allow the student, in consultation with an educational supervisor, to develop and execute a personal learning plan in a chosen area and be assessed on the evidence provided, against the specified learning outcomes.

Intended Learning Outcomes

The majority of the study is independent. There will be 8 hours of contact with the module lead, in the form of online personal tutorials at intervals tailored to the students needs
Description of Module Assessment
1: Assignment weighted 100%The student will write a reflective assignment with respect to their chosen topic of interestThe format of the assignment will be agreed by the student and the supervisor. It will contain a combination of critical reflection, evidence of any formal work undertaken, experiential learning and information relevant to the chosen area of study e.g development of guidelines, teaching programme etc. The production of the assignment will take a maximum of 6 months and its volume should not be in excess of 4000 words.
