Description for 2025/26

This module forms part of the MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) programme at Keele which is an innovative programme of study which prepares you for diverse practice settings.
This module will enable you to understand the the characteristics of effective leadership and service delivery, enabling you to take a lead on the delivery of high quality care.

Aims
This module aims to evaluate the role of effective leadership in diverse settings and to develop the skills and knowledge to effectively plan, implement and deliver high quality services.

Description of Module Assessment

1: Presentation weighted 100%
30 minute Individual oral presentation
A 20 minute presentation (followed by 10 minutes questioning) focused on critically evaluating a real-world service (selected by the student) exploring the role of leadership, workforce management, service strengths and weaknesses and opportunities for enhancement.
