Aims
This module aims to offer students the opportunity to further develop effective communication methods and apply the Occupational Therapy Process to a specific area of Occupational Therapy practice.
The module will enable the student to review and evaluate their personal and professional development.

Intended Learning Outcomes

demonstrate and analyse a range of effective communication methods with service users, carers and the team.: 1
proactively demonstrate self-management skills by taking opportunities to fully engage in practice based learning including planning, organising and prioritising workload.: 1
apply the Occupational Therapy Process to a specific area of Occupational Therapy practice.: 1
demonstrate professional behaviours, including centralising the service user, equity and equality and anti-oppressive and non-discriminatory practice.: 1
adhere to legislation, local policy and Royal College of Occupational Therapists' Professional Standards for Occupational Therapy Practice, Conduct and Ethics & Health and Care Professions Council guidance on Conduct and Ethics for Students.: 1
