Description for 2026/27

This module forms part of the traditional BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and apprenticeship programmes at Keele University.
Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in professional reasoning and begin to evaluate factors which influence decision making in contemporary occupational therapy practice.

Aims
This module aims to develop the learners professional reasoning skills and evaluate a variety of factors that influence decision making in practice.

Study hours

41 active tutor guided learning hours to include:
~ 10 hours synchronous lectures,
