This module forms part of the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy apprenticeship programme at Keele University.The module provides learners with an introduction to the Occupational Therapy apprenticeship and professional practice. Within the module there is opportunity to develop study skills, skills of reflection and an appreciation of professionalism and life-long learning in the context of contemporary occupational therapy practice.
Aims
This module aims to support learners to understand the requirements as they transition to the apprenticeship in occupational therapy. The module will assist learners in developing their knowledge of continuing professional development (CPD), life-long learning and professionalism in their preparation for practice as an occupational therapist. The module will enable the learner to begin to develop an understanding of reflective practice and skills of reflection.
Intended Learning Outcomes
