Aims
to
- Develop clinical nursing practice knowledge, skills and professional values, during your nursing placement in your chosen field of nursing practice.
- Learn and practise clinical skills in a simulated environment and apply in practice settings
- Develop critical reflective practice skills to aid integration of theory and practice learning

Intended Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate safe, effective, compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice in simulated and clinical settings in accordance with the current NMC Code (2018) through successful completion of remining practice proficiencies within the Year 1 practice assessment document, and including medicines management

Demonstrate appropriate, professional interpersonal skills in simulated and clinical practice settings using a range of strategies with colleagues and people at different stages of life with a range of mental, physical, cognitive and behavioural health challenges
