Description for 2024/25

Operations form the base of every organisation, whether manufacturing, service organisations or not-for-profit organisations. This module
explores how organisations can build operations and supply chains in a sustainable way that help to deliver the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit.

Aims
To develop an understanding of sustainability theories (such as Triple Bottom line, Circular Economy) and investigate how these will influence
the design and management of operations. The module will also be providing an understanding of how operational performance can be
measured and improved to achieve sustainability.

critically assess and select appropriate process improvement methods for the organisation: 1
