In this module you will develop your skills in business and data analysis. You will use Tableau software, commonly used in many organisations, to prepare working solutions to organisational data needs. You will study how to undertake an analytics project from the identification of relevant data sets through to user focussed data reporting. At the end of the module will be ready, if you choose, to undertake professional certification in Tableau analysis.
Aims
This module aims to allow students to develop advanced skills in the analysis and communication of complex data. Students will draw on their prior study of data management, preparation, analysis and visualisation and apply these skills to develop user focussed data visualisations. Their work should be of a standard that would enable users to understand the key messages contained in data and make informed decisions about operational or strategic issues.
Intended Learning Outcomes
