Building on foundational knowledge, this module emphasises operational aspects of managing businesses, both small and large. Topics include managing people and resources, understanding operational processes, and techniques for improving organizational performance. You will explore how people, processes, and performance interact within industries and how managers can ensure firm profitability and sustainability.

To develop an understanding of business management, strategies, and decision-making, emphasizing the complexities of managing in a global context.
To explore the importance of cultural awareness and assess the impact of cultural dimensions on human resource management within multinational corporations.
To investigate the challenges and opportunities of domestic and international business, focusing on long-term profitability, sustainability, and strategic adaptation.

A reflective assignment based on the key competences and skills required for business management. Use a reflective model to develop a 1,000-word reflective essay showing the competencies and skills for business management.
