Using your commercial awareness and enterprise skills, you will tackle an actual organisational challenge, collaborating with a team gain first-hand experience of working with an organisation. This hands-on experience not only enhances your practical abilities but also encourages critical reflection on your personal and professional growth, steering you towards effective problem-solving and continued development of your professional identity.

Aims
The aim of the module is to provide the opportunity for students to develop their commercial awareness and enterprise skills through tackling a an actual organisational challenge, collaborating with a team gain first-hand experience of working with an organisation. This hands-on experience is intended to enhance students' practical abilities but also encourage critical reflection on their personal and professional growth.

Description of Module Assessment

1: Group Assessment weighted 50%
Group Info Sheet
A group info sheet (2,000 words) assessing and resolving a real-world organisational challenge with reference to enterprise skills, such as creativity, innovation, risk-taking, and problem-solving, and connection to relevant theories and concepts. The info sheet will be shared with the organisation that set the challenge. Group size will depend on the challenge set by the organisation (usually no more than 10-12 students per group). Students are expected to work in quality circles where peer support and feedback will be provided.

2: Reflective Diary weighted 50%
Individual Reflection
Individual reflection (1,000 words) on experience of working with an organisation to solve a real-world business challenge and on team collaboration and performance.
