Description for 2026/27

Events are an important part of our culture, wellbeing and economy and they focus on arts, heritage, sport, music, business, food and drink, recreation, sexuality, education and religion. Some events are considered mega events, such as the Olympic Games, whereas other events are much smaller in scale, such as a community event. The events industry is very dynamic, constantly changing, adapting to trends and influenced by new technologies.
