Aims
This module will equip students with the skills necessary to undertake their own research project and engage with primary sources, historiographical debates and key themes and issues relevant to their chosen research topic.

Intended Learning Outcomes

Over a series of one-to-one meetings with their supervisor over the course of the year, students will develop and execute a dissertation research project based on their own individual interests. Most students meet with their supervisor every two weeks during the semester. The student and supervisor will select the scheduling of their meetings as well as the timetable for research and writing.
