The applied placement module allows you to use practical taught skills in a professional environment. Offering opportunities to build relationships and gain skills that are crucial for employment and career aspirations.
Aims
This module aims to enable the student to evaluate their personal and professional development focusing on both self and the management of others and thereby to develop and apply skills to effectively and efficiently assess and critically evaluate patient/client interventions in a relevant external setting.
Intended Learning Outcomes

Description of Module Assessment
1: Assignment weighted 0%Logbook(1) identify prior to starting the experiential learning experience, your own personal
development objectives; and
(2) keep a log of your experiential learning opportunity via a submitted attendance log. This
will include details of each opportunity (i.e. date, time, total hours) and a brief summary of the
experience.
2: Workbook weighted 100%2250 word workbook3 x 750 components
Workbook tasks will include:
Critically evaluate your performance of a single incident or memorable task (750 words)
Critically reflect on how you have developed individual skills during the placement (750 words)
Critically evaluate an improvement you would make within the designated placement (750 words)
