ESC-40006, Research Report, is one of three modules belonging to the Year 4/Level 7 MGeology research project. It focuses on communication of the methods, results and conclusions of the research project in the format of a report of approximately 7000 words in length that is written in the format of a journal paper. The report is accompanied by a poster providing a visual summary of methodology, data interpretation and analysis, and conclusions from the project. Students use the material presented on their poster to deliver a 10 minute presentation during a conference-style presentation session.

Intended Learning Outcomes
