Aims
This module aims to give you a critical exploration of enterprise and entrepreneurship within the context of a rapidly changing economic, political, social, and employment landscape. Emphasis is placed on the balance between profitability and responsibility and designing strategic approaches to implement change. Through the study of real-world case studies, theoretical frameworks, and interactive activities, students will develop the skills to initiate and manage entrepreneurial change across different employment settings.

Description of Module Assessment
1: Essay weighted 40%Case Study-Based Essay weighted 40%A 1,500-word essay (excluding references), based on at least two of the provided empirical
case studies, demonstrating how entrepreneurs identified, evaluated, and implemented
enterprise initiatives in a changing context. The essay should integrate relevant literature and
models.
2: Group Assessment weighted 60%Group Assessment weighted 60%A group poster, with about 4-6 students per group, that identifies and evaluates an enterprise opportunity in a changing context, recognises the challenges, and outlines a strategy to overcome them. A reference list must be included and the poster must be presented.
