Description of Module Assessment

1: Group Assessment weighted 60%
Podcast
The group project will take the form of a 10 minute podcast. Students will work in small interdisciplinary groups (3-5 students) to produce their podcast about climate change impacts and solutions in their chosen country. The grade for this assessment will be calculated from a mark awarded to the podcast itself (90%) and from a peer calculated mark based on peer feedback (10%)

2: Reflective Diary weighted 40%
Independent Reflective Blog
Students will submit an independent reflective blog covering reflections on their own learning, development and behaviours in sustainability. This will be submitted in two parts across the two semesters to stagger engagement with assessments and assessment support. The first part will require students to reflect on sustainable behaviours based around a focused two days of thinking about living sustainably; and the second will require students to focus on their learning and development (including behaviour change) around sustainability throughout the module.
