Description for 2025/26

This is the second module of three leading to the Trinity College (London) Certificate in TESOL. This module builds on skills and knowledge presented in module 1 and continues to develop an understanding of English language structures whilst introducing the English language sound system. This module examines the types of errors learners make, why they may make them and what practical techniques we can use to help our learners. You will also work with a learner on a one-to-one basis to analyse their needs and plan and teach a lesson. During this module, students will continue their teaching practice in the classroom with non-native English speaking students.
