Description for 2023/24


Aims
This module introduces students to the fixed income market. It provides students with the ability to value and understand fixed income instruments. Moreover, this module also introduces students to managing credit risk associated with fixed income instruments.

Description of Module Assessment

1: Open Book Examination weighted 100%
28 hours online open book assessment
A 28 hours online open book final exam. This final exam includes six questions. Students are required to answer any four out of the six questions. All questions are equally weighted. The questions may involve descriptive /numerical or both. The time available to complete this assessment is 28 hours but you would normally not be expected to invest more than 3 hours of active-working time on this assessment.
