Description for 2022/23

This module is intended to form and frame a learning path for developing knowledge and understanding of the changing world of work alongside enterprise as a theme that crosses subject and national boundaries as well as physical workspaces. The module recognises that successful enterprise is a combination of knowledge about business theory, trends, etc and the employability mindset to adapt and succeed in commercial/non-commercial, technological, and national/international settings.
You will have the opportunity to work with academics, businesses and your peers on a number of real-life challenges designed to enhance your enterprise and employability profile. You will have the opportunity to prepare a submission for a professional networking event / conference. Through the development of a presentation and a reflective diary, you will be able to research current enterprise and present ideas both collaboratively and independently. Through a reflective diary you will be invited to measure your own performance and progress as a modern knowledge-based worker. You will reassess your own skills, values, and the opportunities available to you locally and internationally.
