This module introduces students to underpinning knowledge of human growth and development in order to prepare them to practise more effectively with diverse service user groups. The module will support students to appreciate the importance of an understanding of human growth and development to social work practice. This module meets both the professional and regulatory requirements set by the professional and regulatory bodies.

This module is designed to provide basic, underpinning knowledge of human growth and development in order to prepare students to practice more effectively with diverse client groups.
