Description of Module Assessment

1: Poster Presentation weighted 100%
Produce a Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) in poster format. Small group work (approx. 4-6 students)
Students will submit a Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) in poster format followed by examiner questioning to the group (approx. 4-6 students). The students' knowledge and skills related to answering a specific applied or clinical question using research evidence and presenting an answer (i.e. a clinical bottom line) will be explored. Each group member will be required to answer at least one question. The student's ability to work in small groups will be assessed by incorporating a peer review component (WebPA (peer assessment tool)). 40% of the group's total mark will be influenced by the outcome of the peer assessment tool.
