Description for 2020/21
This module is an advanced course in Cognitive Psychology. It introduces key articles in the field and develops the students' ability to evaluate and appreciate these important theoretical and empirical research accounts. The key readings presented throughout the module are reviewed and presented alongside related research, subsequent developments and applications in the literature.
Building upon module PSY-20045 Biological and Cognitive Psychology, this module aims to provide students with a detailed critical understanding of a range of key, influential readings in cognitive psychology and to equip them with the ability to critical evaluate journal articles themselves.
