Description for 2020/21

The module will provide training for students, who:
- need some guidance in philosophy with activities such as the selection of a topic for research, the identification of the appropriate resources and the construction of a relevant argument;
- need to become more familiar with some aspects of their research topic's background.

Aims
- to guide students in the construction of a substantial piece of research which will form the background for their theses;
- to develop several of the student's research-related abilities, which are necessary for a successful completion of their respective course: independent research, time management, critical approach, resource identification;
- to enable students to produce research of excellent quality.
