Description for 2020/21

This module will provide students with an opportunity to study particular, current topics at the forefront of the pharmaceutical sciences that are of interest to them. In this module, students choose one elective topic from a range of electives; the choice of topics available will be largely dictated by topical developments and staff interests. Students will then be examined on their chosen topics using a variety of means appropriate to the elective undertaken by the student.

Aims

Coursework requirement for elective element
Students will be assessed in their chosen elective topic using appropriate assessment methods within the optional topics. These may include (but are not exclusive to) presentations, critiques, essays and tests. It is not possible to assess anonymously the majority of assessments in this section as they will be taught and assessed on a one-to-one or small group basis.
