Description of Module Assessment

1: Poster Presentation weighted 40%
Group poster
In a group of 3 or 4 students, create an A3 poster suitable for a management audience. The poster should focus on a particular challenge or opportunity facing managers and this should be agreed with the module leader prior to commencement of the assignment. The purpose of the poster is to either raise awareness of the issue and/or provide suggested ways of addressing it. Each group will present their poster to an audience of their peers and academic staff. An element of the marks will be based on peer assessment which will give students a 10% variance based on peer review input of performance.

2: Report weighted 60%
3000-word case study-based report
Students will develop a case study linked to one of the themes covered on the module. The case study should include links to academic literature and utilise real examples from industry or other forms of organisation.
