Description of Module Assessment

1: Essay weighted 50%
1,000 words essay
The essay will cover the early part of the module. The essay is expected to be diagnostic as well as summative to enable tutors to spot poor academic writing skills and recommend remedies through feedback. This is part of a continuous process within the school.

2: Unseen Exam weighted 50%
2 hour unseen exam
Assessment 2 is a take-away exam which will be available on KLE for 24-hours to answer and submit your answer via Turnitin File. Although students have been given significant time to complete this exam script, we expect most students to spend no more than 3 hours to complete and submit their answers via Turnitin (with a maximum of 3000 words). Answers should be as accurate and concise as possible.
