IP & Patents drop-in Workshop

Mathys & Squire LLP are holding a free Drop-in workshop relating to intellectual property, and in particular patents on February 19, 2020, 8:30 - 11:30

The focus will be on protecting computer-implemented inventions, such as those used in algorithms, apps, and software in general.

This event would be suitable for anyone who is interested in IP and may be especially useful for those with a business relying on a software-based invention. There will be a question and answer session, and if you have a pressing question that is best discussed in confidence the speakers will stick around for a short time afterwards.

Commercial Law Clinic - Drop-in Sessions 

Join Keele University School of Law, for a free commercial legal advice in the Smart Innovation Hub Atrium (inside the Denise Coats Foundation Building) on Wednesday, February 19th 2020 from 10 am – 1 pm

Covering a range of Law topics for local SMEs and individuals to gain an insight into commercial law, students from Keele University School of Law who are supervised by a solicitor will be on hand to offer one to one legal guidance.

This event is free and a drop-in clinic booking is not required

The following event will be in the Denise Coates Foundation Building (marked as no 51 on the map - IC6/Keele Business School) to obtain a free parking permit on the day please park in the 15-minute parking bays adjacent to main entrance and go to reception to collect your permit you will then be directed to the Plot 7 car park (left-hand side of the map, a short walk to the venue)
