Keele University is leading the way in sustainability – not just in our ambitions to become carbon neutral by 2030, but also through our teaching and our ground-breaking research into climate change and renewable technologies.

Keele is sector-leading in environmental education and conducts world-leading research into environmental sustainability. Having all the elements of a small town, our campus acts as a living laboratory for innovative climate-saving projects such as Europe’s largest Smart Energy Network Demonstrator and our Low Carbon Energy Generation Park which provides 50% of our campus electricity through renewable sources.

The University has also recently been announced as the lead of HyDEX - a new programme designed to support and foster the creation of a new hydrogen economy across the Midlands region, with collaboration opportunities available to businesses based in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

• An overview of Keele’s sustainability projects, and how these local initiatives are contributing to the global challenge of climate change.

• A chance to discuss your organisation’s sustainability needs with experienced academics and professionals.
