Hazel Beaumont gives talk at IAS

Hazel Beaumont, PhD student in BDRG, gave a talk at the International Sedimentological Congress, 2014 in Geneva. The title of the talk was 'The influence of climate on an evolving fluvial system an example from the Cretaceous Ghaggar-Hakra Formation, Barmer Basin, Rajasthan, India'.

The talk discussed the differences between the influence of climate and tectonics on fluvial systems and how this influences the reservoir quality, with particular reference to the Ghaggar-Hakra Formation of the Barmer Basin, India.
