Amy Gough, PhD student in BDRG, gave a lunchtime seminar at the British Geological Survey, Murchison House. The talk was entitled 'Climatic control of alluvial facies development in the Cutler Group, and implications for waste storage in the Brockram Facies'.
The talk discussed the implications of continental basin margin sediments on basin-scale fluid flow to ascertain the potential effect the deposits have upon nuclear waste repositories.
